Chairs
Wines and Spirits
Born in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, INSEEC is pursuing its development in wine and spirits with the creation of a chair dedicated to wines and spirits based on know-how recognised throughout the world. It is headed by Jean-Marie CARDEBAT, a teacher-researcher at INSEEC Grande École Bordeaux.
Objective
The INSEEC Wine and Spirits Chair
Its aim is to develop research into issues relating to wine and spirits, proposing innovative ideas and solutions that are visible at regional, national and international level. Its ambition is to become an international benchmark for applied research into the economics and management of the wine and spirits industry.
Think Tanks model
Based on the Think Tank model
The aim of this Chair is to provide partner companies with a forward-looking perspective on the future of the industry and international markets. The impact of micro and macroeconomic factors affecting wine supply, demand and prices will be analysed. The Chair is intended to act as a bridge between academic research and innovative business approaches.
Research areas
Areas of research in Wines and Spirits
The areas of research concern all the players in the industry throughout the value chain, including the public and private institutions whose mission it is to develop the regions.
